Barns
Freedom Feather offers an array of different barn options suited to many different budgets. We work with you to design your dream barn, based on your equestrian needs. We build barns, for equestrians from hobbyist to professionals. These barns are made for horses, not buildings with stalls in them. Check out our photos of some of our past projects.
Why are we different?
Freedom Feather designs barns for the equestrian, by equestrians. We consider things like:
What breed of horses do you have?
-Do you have Shetland ponies? You may need smaller stalls, and shorter Stall Doors.
-You have 17 hand Warmbloods? You can consider 12X14 Stalls

-You breed on a regular basis? You will likely need a foaling stall, or more.

Is this a private barn or a boarding/training business?
- We offer tack room designs, cross tie areas, vet/farrier bays, stalling options, etc. All to make your life easier and more efficient.
What state are you in?
- Depending on your state, you may need insulation or more ventilation.

The overall measurements of your barn: Length, Width, and height
Do you want overhangs or porches?
How many and what kind?
Stalls
How many stalls? What size Stalls?
Do you have a particular color or style you are wanting to achieve?
Size and functionality
Tack room
Is this a personal tack room, a trainers tack room or a boarding facility? Do you want space to allow for trunks etc?
Garage door, stall doors, man door
Openings
How many doors leading outside from the stalls? Garage doors, Man doors, etc. Do you want runs connected?
Do you want your barn heated?
Insulation
Insulation will play an important part in keeping heat in, or cool air in.
